More than 10 new destinations for your trip
The eastern portion of Tanzania contains Sadaani National Park. This is the newest national park in Tanzania and so is less visited than the parks in the rest of the country. It is more private and secluded than other parks and is rife with specialties that can be found nowhere else. It is well worth a visit! Sadaani National Park is the only place where you can encounter some of the larger species of wildlife while wandering down a sandy beach. It is the smallest of the safari circuits.
Area: 1,062 sq km (415 sq miles)
Located in the centre of the historic triangle of Bagamoyo, Pangani and Zanzibar, Saadani National Park covers 1100km square. It is the only wildlife sanctuary in Tanzania bordering the sea. The climate is coastal, hot and humid. It offers a unique combination of both marine and mainland flora and fauna in a culturally fascinating setting. About 30 species of larger mammals are present as well as numerous reptiles and birds.
